It’s very pretty, even if the X logo takes Logan out! Well done, how you can’t tell who’s being shot, even though we know, of course.

I suspect it’s the cover of the second trade paperback of the second issues of all the first wave comics. Which is a bit of a weird format to put them out in, but what do I know about marketing comics? May catch on as a format.

I see people criticizing Leinil Yu more than often recently on this site but I really like his style. He may have degraded over the last few years. He is really good at character designs too.

Yu is a very good artist. But even good work suffers when attached to a project that doesn't play to the creator's strengths. Those first three issues of X-Men needed an artist better with nuanced facial expressions.
