Seems like a good time for an X-men writer to come up with a new cosmic force that primarily seems to like to attach itself to only very specific human mutants.

But then again, who knows who they are going to give it. Judging by the common trend. It would just end up given to Wolverine and his genetic offsprings. Or Glob.

I think laura still has that and a hell brand. In liu's x23 series the hooded women was probably a version of her that mastered it

I can't believe Avengers went from Mark Waid, Al Ewing, and Jim Zub... to this. I feel bad for them but I'm also glad Aaron's far from the X-Books.

Oh, that's neat. We're already using the anime trope of tournament arc, the "hero wins against a villain whose powers guarantee victory by definition" is a favorite of mine. I'm hoping Tini actually delivers because I refuse to believe she wants to kill Betsy after doing almost no development for the character.

Jheesh. I’m know fans would have been complaining if Betsy wasn’t in Excalibur, but I’m sure that there are other X-writers who would’ve loved to use her.

I would have been fine with her not being in Excalibur. I don’t care what title she’s in so long as she’s written well.

I think Betsy is fine in Excalibur, but ALL characters involved would've been better off if it was a Betsy solo with Rictor, Apocalypse, Meggan, Brian, and Jamie in the ensemble.

Laura's connection to the Unipower hasn't been touched on SINCE the Liu series (I think most writers have forgotten about it, even though she's supposed to be its heir) and it didn't appear in any story connected to the Hooded Woman. Likewise, I don't think her Hellmark has even been mentioned since Circle of Four.

I agree! It was a fun book. Spider-Man and Wolverine don't always get along. And their dynamics are all over the place. But Amazing Spider-Man and Wolverine really had fun with it. And I highly recommend it.
