I can't believe SWORD's tie-ins with King in Black are going to last to issue 4. As soon as a series begins and they screw it up with three tie in with an event.

omg Lila looks great. I love that she still retains that slight punk rock look with the shaggy black hair and what looks like black eyeliner? Though that may just be the art.

I'm not too familiar with Risque but she had an awesome scene in the first issue so I'm interested in seeing her more. Peepers looks dapper as well.

Exactly. The opening arc can show how Brand et al actually deal with future incursions, not just explore esoteric interdimensional spaces. They're certainly not going to drive off the symbiote god but we'll see how they can somehow help mitigate the destruction.
