Depends if whoever writes the book gives Jean a sense of agency.

From what I've seen of her this era I'm confident she'll be more than " the girlfriend support character" since that's not how she's been characterized at all during this era.

Again, your hyperbole about what Jean fans want doesn't fit with what has been seen in the comic. Which is fine. Post what you want, but I'm just pointing that out lol.

Why is it when fans ask for better writing for some characters, others repeat the same tired lines of them wanting their faves to be the main focus. No, I think Jen fans are simply hoping for a little more on what makes Jean ticks, especially if the Head of X is going to ignore most if not all of her development from the last 3 years.

Jean fans and others are either begging for a modern take on her or just don't care at all. If "like Morrison's" which is like 20 years old, can be described as modern lol. I guess it's more that Jean fans want her to be slightly less archaic.

Which is so weird, how a portrayal of Jean from 20 years ago is more in line with the natural progression of the character than the one we see monthly, wearing a costume from the 70's!
