Marvel.com had a new article on the upcomming Women of Marvel one-shot which features some preview pages including for the two X-men related stories (one with Rogue and Mystique, one with Marrow and Feral).

Art looks okay for the Rogue and Mystique one, though the context seems a bit odd. The Feral and Marrow one looks somewhat rough but it fits the characters, also it really looks like a pitch for a "X-Girlfriends" series it seems.

That's a good hairstyle for Feral now that i think about it. Definetly better than the original trapezoid one. Though now it looks a bit like she has a bigger set of ears on top of her head.

Normaly i think Marrow shouldn't have too long bones jutting out of her back, because they make her somewhat cumbersome looking, but here they work as part of the story since Feral seems to be mocking her for them. Though i wonder how she slept with that thing?

Overall the design seems to be a bit of a mixture between Spurrier's X-force (including the headband and skull face when going for the attack) and the one she had in X-men Blue (side shave and shards all over the body), both which i think were pretty good newer designs (unlike that Uncanny X-men one...).

Backround makes me wonder if it's supposed to be part of a subway network turned bedroom or on Krakoa? The circular shape might speak for the former, but the plants in the backround for the later.

Also i just realised that the context of the fight is not a real battle but a brawl it seems. So basicly a cat fight *ba dum tsss*.
