So, she is clothed but we don't know which parts are clothed and which are not.

Also: Most of the time Mystique is naked but she generates clothes with her powers.

I really do like seeing Mystique with short hair though. It is super flattering for her.

So, much like a red carpet event in the real world - some people look great, some look meh, and others leave you wondering how they could have seen themselves in the mirror and still showed up dressed in that.

I would actually love to see mutants dressing like this more regularly. Maybe a little toned down. Instead of more "classic" superhero attire.

Synch look for example would make a great field outfit.

Karma and Eyeboy are camp!

The Hellfire gala is supposed to be the mutant version of the Met ball, you're supposed to wear something extravagant for the costume institute and not some cookie cutter red carpet look. That's why a lot of the Hellfire gala look are out there.
