It's definitely not surprising. I mean the mystique cover mystique who is usually drawn with her Caucasian features all of a sudden looks like rhianna as her hand is shifting from an ape like form. I mean we can't even get though kind of ethnic features on Storm in most books. lol

EYEROLL is more appropriate for the artist using nearly the same character from the OG cover with updated looks but then changing Monica for Carol. Just use Monica in her Spectrum outfit. Or don't use that cover as your homage?

Representation is important, but I guess not to everyone. It's not surprising but it needs to be called out regardless.

Exactly! Wolverine has been among the highest selling x-books in the Krakoa era, only X-men has sold more and sometimes not by that much. And other books don't come close to his sales, not Sword, not Marauders, not Hellions, so this book is 100% justifiable. And again the complaints that Wolverine is overexposed or is being shoved down our throats is laughable at best and disingenuous at worst. Since the Krakoan era began Logan as just been there, not standing out at all; confined to X-force and his solo. Certainly not a power player or mover and shaker, not on the QC, not one of the Captains, wasn't voted on to the X-men team. But people are complaining about to much Wolverine. I guarantee if Wolverine's name was replaced with another many of the posters would be excited and eager for the books. As always it comes down to whichever character you're a fan of and whichever character you hate. Wolverine has a lot of haters on this board.

Very true outside of the internet Wolverine is popular and a beloved X-Man despite what some on this board might make it seem.....and money talks. Plenty of characters have gotten shine in this new era.

I'd much rather have Monica as i can't stand Carol anymore. But to say Marvel is whitewashing is ridiculous. Carol is on the regular cover so she's in the story whereas Monica probably is not.

I have a bigger problem with Percy on the book than Wolverine. His XF has been so dull to me.

At this point the only way to save X-Force I think is to add a few new field operatives and have some of the old ones each answering to a different council table. Have Logan answer to Xavier, Shinobi Shaw answer to Kate, Emma and Sebastian , have Kid Omega answer to Nightcrawler and Storm , have Mercury answer to Sinister,Exodus and Mystique

Team would be Wolverine, Domino, Kid.O, Shinobi Shaw and Mercury in the field and Beast and Sage on Krakoa.Otherwise right now there is no good team drama it's beast versus the rest and not even really consequential since no one calls him on bs except Sage.With different directives from each desk you basically have Homeland type intelligence body drama
