I remember the paper shortage in the 90's but I still don't know what caused it. :-/

Wow where did you find this?? Usually RD posts them first himself!

They really downgraded Lorna and Shiro's powers on these "trading cards". How can Sunfire possess the power of the sun but have an energy projection of 4?? In this very series that these covers are representing, they have Shiro basically serving as the failsafe powerhouse in case they need to literally disintegrate everything.

This is beautiful. My only issue is with the Energy Projection bar rating...Lorna is a 5 (Ability to give off high level of energy for short periods of time.)

She needs a higher intelligence rating, too. Someone with a Master's degree surely rates higher than a 2.

The key is pretty distinct.

I think 2 is educated, 4 is gifted or something like that. In terms of energy 5 was two types of energy and 7 was all types of energy. 4 is one type of energy. Something along those lines.

Its the same key from the back of the handbooks if someone can find a screenshot of it

I recall that as well. Lorna in '92 managed a five in energy and Magneto a six. I think those numbers for energy were probably good for 1992, but after her Magneto training she graduated to a 6 in my view based on how she was wielding her powers and for how long.

In terms of intelligence not all people with PhD's in advanced sciences are very intelligent certainly, but Lorna isn't average.

No, she is definitely a 5. Hell, after all this time and what's she done I can see her as a 6.
