It is kind of annoying, but they're just variant covers. Giving Cyclops the 5 definitely should put Polaris and Sunfire at a 6, especially based off of those definitions. And giving Rogue a 1 for intelligence is just rude! I remember she was the only superhero to get that low rating in the X-Men 92 card set and it had to be a mistake. Now they repeated it!

While this might not mean anything for the comics Marvel does go through periods where they play her up as an everywoman... sometimes way too much. I find it works when they focus on one or two things that are ordinary about her. For Duggan's X-Men the urban princess persona works and helps to ground her (as everyone knows a girl/women who thinks she is above everyone else) along with the coffee addiction.

Overdo the everyday aspects you have way too ordinary a character. The intelligent, deadly, powerful, and activist aspects accentuate the everyday grounded aspects.

I don't think it matters if Lorna has a 4, 5, or 6 in some variant card stats or even if the character is classified as 'Omega' or not. I wouldn't even mind a broken powers arc where Lorna can't do much more then reverse bullets and throw metal. I give Marvel a great deal of leeway if they get the core right. She should be intelligent. She should be deadly at times and her mutant activist cred shouldn't be forgotten even if it isn't being used at a given time. When the last three are screwed up its a problem.
