Yeah, he’s quite well off. It’s never really stated how wealthy exactly, but he apparently had substantial holdings at Landau, Luckman & Lake back in the Larry Hama days. Clearly accumulated over his long lifetime, and quite possibly ill-gotten gains from some of his exploits pre-Weapon X Program.

I’m not sure if he has any family wealth at this point (if it’s been shown on panel I’m not remembering it), but that would be damn interesting to explore since he now knows who he is. And the Howlett family (as well as the Hudsons, which his mother was) were quite wealthy. I’m sure much of that generational wealth is possibly still around 120 years later and, quite possibly, has even grown exponentially since that time depending on the investments made. I mean, just imagine if they were invested in railroads and shipping ports back in the late 1800s/early 1900s, and over the decades since then those investments were rolled into what became a massive global shipping conglomerate all over the world. Or if the family was in the banking business, and it became a massive worldwide financial firm since that time. Or the oil business. And so on and so forth. He could be quite a bit more wealthy than he even knows…

Nah, this is what if Miles Morales became Wolverine instead of Spider-man, it's pretty obvious in the design and color scheme. Also I don't think they make What If books about brand new characters, the entire point is what if something different happened to an established character.

That's not true. I mean Mayday Parker is proof that new characters can happen some times. And the story could very well be, what if Wolverine becomes a mom? (Sorry to the fellow Laura fans who are suffering reading through these.)
