Prosecuting crimes in DCU

I could be remembering wrong, but didn't they mention a law as passed in the DCU so Batman and other busts are legal. It may have been in an old brave and the bold, but with new Daredevil issue got me thinking about how it is handled in DCU.

Well, I think the dynamic in Gotham is a little more complicated, but in general I would assume there is a law that, to some degree, legalizes vigilantism so long as it abides by working within the law to a degree and results in the apprehension of criminals.
