I actually really like the idea of a token male character. But in my mind there's only one choice. You need a male character who gets objectified almost constantly, who provides eye candy for the team and the readers and who can provide gratuitous ass shots.

You need Nightwing.

for token male character, i would go with ted kord, for tech support and transportation.
