JL Preview and Write Up: Hippolyta and Antiope wll be leading the amazon againt Darkeid's forces...

It appears that Diana will most likely be encountering other demi-gods/gods, in the process gets a new sword. Maybe she'll encounter The Cheetah then..and maybe the Children of Ares shall be the new villains (and maybe also got Etta and steve). I think the Olympian gods got deceived somehow and were tricked to lower their guards or Ares made a deal ith Darkseid. There is no way in hell Ares can kill ALL the gods.. at best he maybe able to take a few of them by surprise but not all of them (surely someone will notice). Perhaps during their war ith Darkseid, the gods helped out the amazons and got w eakend or were left vulnerable (except for Zeus) After all, it will be really quite pathetic if a parademon soldier is not considerably more advanced than a world war one soldier. No matter how skilled an amazon, unles they were given special pow ers and w eapons, there is no chance they will w tand a chance againt a technologically superior oponent w ith simply arrows and swords and riding dometic animals.

Parademons are also considered the 'grunts' of Darkseids army. Easy fodder for Superhero's, even the street level types like Black Canary. I see them like the Kree in The Avengers, just a point to make the Justice League'ers look good before their showdown with whoever the boss villain is, like Steppenwolf.

Would a Greek / Olympian God constitute a being from another world? Especially for Diana since they're part of her world?

Unless young Diana is also part of the battle against the parademons in the past, which seems unlikely as she didn't appear to be a fully trained Amazon until around 1918 in man's world, then I presume that in the hundred years between 1918 and the events of DoJ, Diana does battle beings from other worlds, potentially some kind of alien invaders or some mystical beings brought to Earth through a magical portal. It's possible that such battles will be explored in the Wonder Woman sequel, but I expect that we'll never get a canonically explanation of just what other worldly beings Diana was referring to in DoJ.
