Bette Kane is a dog person. She's Batman's cousin so she definitely gets along with Ace and Titus. Also someone wrote an adorable fic with her having a little dog named Macha.

Yeah the Spaniel was cute, Morrison's German shepherd update is ok, though if i was me LOL... I'd have given him his own goofy helmet and aviator goggles, and made Bulletdog a Bulldog!

Cryll is eerily unsettling.
Zook, Itty, Cosmo, Gremlins, Snarf, Gleek, Ewoks all make me nervous.
But don't know what is going on with Cryll, that thing gives me insane level heebeegeebees, I can barely look at it.

Characters like that lend themselves to stories that reveal them to be soul sucking parasites and or energy leeches, that have been under the heroes’ noses this whole time, quietly hiding out and responsible for horrible off panel atrocities.

LOL! I was thinking more it's general expression and shape freak me out to no end, but you are right it likley hides nefarious secret motives.

Don’t forget the entire populations of Earth C and Earth C-, everyone in/from Gorilla City, Tawky Tawney, Hoppy the Marvel Bunny, G’nort, Pantha, Ch’p, Tomcat, Hyena, Copperhead, and my favorite...

There are anthropomorphic characters at DC, the above are just off the top of my head.

I was keeping it to just the main/normal recognizable DCU, so no Earths C and C-. And I wouldn't count the Gorilla City citizenry, they're intelligent but not anthropomorphic. I think Tawky has a human and tiger form, but not an anthropomorphic one, but I'm not a big Shazam guy so I could be wrong.
