Isn't Batman more of a dog person? He did have Ace the Bathound for a while when Alan Grant and Norm Breyfogle were on the Batman books, if I remember correctly. And if it wasn't dogs, I think he would just be a bat person. He's got bats on his mind ALL. THE. TIME.

They had a Batdog in the Silver Age, during the early 90 and he gat also one in the last Batman Annual (who didn't appear anywere after wards sofar).
