Alright we've done

For Wonder Woman over Kanga as her main "pet" , I prefer Wonder Woman having a sentient mystic horse, who becomes the sentient invisible plane concept.
Essentially it just manifests according to whatever era she might be in. And is even there when she is "gliding" just as another unseen form. So you can retroactively read it as always having been there.
And I'd consolidate the concept with the Lansinarian idea, just have it originate as Amazon tech, more a mystic-tech hybrid familiar that she manifests as her "invisible flying companion.

supergirl got comet the super horse and streaky the super cat.
superman got krypto the super dog and beppo the pesky super monkey
wonder woman got jumpa the kanga
aquaman got topo the octopus
martian manhunter got zook , his alien pet baby
green lantern got itty the alien starfish
batman got ace the bathound
don't remember any of the flashes having pets
According to Art Baltazar
Although I think he embellished with some
Only tangentially the Flashes have McSnurtle the Turtle/Terrific Whatzit a spin-off funny animal character, who is a pet in the CWverse, and the Art Baltazarverse (if there is such a thing)
Surprisingly Baltazar left off Zook, which DC seems determined to pretend never happened.

I missed that post your commenting to.
Thanks for having my back. Pretty sure an actual mod would have said something if needed. My post is about a week old.
Anyway, I always found it cool that Morgan had both a wife he loved very much, and a partner who was drop dead gorgeous. Not many writers could pull that off w. the ease Grell did.
Has anyone mentioned Tusky?
He was Aquaman and Aqualad’s pet in the old cartoons.
Don't think Tusky was mentioned yet,
but he does remind me Filmation also gave the Aquafamily each their own steeds, to add to the Equine list:
"Seahorses" Aquaman(Storm), Mera(Coral?), Aqualad(Imp).
And it was also Filmation who gave Hawkman - Skreal!, don't know if he had a comic book precedent?
Also their live action Isis had a pet Raven.
Name?

Re:
Also adding to the avian list, I'd give Freddy Freeman an Eagle.

LOL yeah the Earths get pretty wonky down that rabbit hole.
Earth C is all funny Animals? then Earth C-Minus is where the Just'a Lotta Animals are from? Not sure how or if the Whatzit straddles both?
Also was there ever a Reverse-Whatzit?
LOL "Kryptonian eagle" which just happen to look exactly the same.
I think you put as much "work" into this idea, as Filmation did theirs, that is absolutely none at all!
Oh sure, take that from me too!

^^^not sure about a reverse-Whatzit, but Pig Iron was actually an existing character from the Golden Age, who was always being chased by a wolf. After the Zoo Crew comic came out, the letters pages briefly touched on the mental state of that wolf as being cannibalistic, considering all animals are sentient on earth C.
That wolf character also appeared in the Zoo Crew book as the Wuz-Wolf(sp), who transformed into...a human!
^^^Hey now, I had to look that cover up! I didn’t recall the issue number, just that it was Ordway art.
That took a little work.
^^^i never understood Luthor’s problem w. losing his hair. He has a good looking bald head.
