My Batman Trinity is Kevin Conroy, Michael Keaton, and last but never least Adam West. When I was a kid I watched reruns of Batman the tv series every week day and my first DC cartoons were Super Friends: The Legendary Super Powers Show & Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians Adam West had replaced Olan Soule as Batman on those shows and he was Batman when I was little there was no other and he will be missed.

I loved watching the Batman TV show as a child.

Loved it even more watching older and finally getting all the jokes.

    RIP, he will be missed.

The legendary star of the classic Batman TV series, which aired from 1966-68, passed away on Friday, June 9 at the age of 88. In rememberance of West’s unforgettable portrayal of the celebrated “Bright Knight,” Mayor Garcetti and Chief Beck will light the iconic Bat-signal, which will be projected onto the tower of Los Angeles City Hall at Spring Street.

DC has said that there will be other surprise guests appearing to honor West.

Attending Bat-fans are invited to don their Bat-suits and trusty utility belts in honor of West’s signature role as the true crimefighter.

If it wasn't for watching reruns of the 60's BATMAN series, I would not be the Bat-Fan I am today.
There is room in this universe for all kinds of Batmen. Light and Dark. Enjoy them all.

    Rest In Peace

"Batman" with Adam West was one of my guilty pleasures in my twenties, back when I loved comics but thought they were just for kids. I'm glad to know now I'm not the only grown-up fan. RIP, Adam West.

This is a retro interview where Cesar Romero talks Red Hood, The Joker, 1966 series + it features an excerpt with Adam West (all done 'in character')
