To be fair about some aspects of it, this was written around the time of Infinite Crisis, back when DC hammered really hard on Diana's primairy defining trait being that she didn't get people.

My best bet is that Flash wasn't talking about Supes. "You were right about him" could refer to any dude. Sure, Lois is mentioned, but even at my first viewing (of many) of BvS I found it to be a misleading operation : Lois may be the "key" to a great number of things (investigation, an unknown enemy, etc.).
