I know his series sold pretty abysmally but I was a fan of the character and the book.
I knows he made a minor appearance in the Teen Titans book but was that all after his book ended?

Yeah, he was thrown into Titans after his book ended, was there for a few issues, and then literally disappeared. I believe in the middle of the story.
I for one enjoyed the character.
I'd really like to see him again along with the younger Doctor Fate (Khalid). I enjoyed both books and thought that Levitz was doing the best work he'd done in years with Doctor Fate.
Supporting LION FORGE COMICS and other independent publishers.
Check out Lion Forge's Catalyst Prime Universe. Its the best damned superhero verse in comics. Diverse characters and interesting stories set in a universe where anyone can be a hero. And company that prides itself on representation both in the comics themselves and in the people behind them.
Oh my goodness gracious! I've been bamboozled!
When we hit our lowest point, we are open to the greatest change. AVATAR AANG
I'd actually really like it if he were to show up in Super Sons.
"It's fun and it's cool, so that's all that matters. It's what comics are for, Duh."
Words to live by.
To be truthful while I doubt he'll return it'd be fun to see him back. it wouldn't even be too hard to incorporate him into the DCU somehow with an altered origin. Since the Doomsday virus as it occurred changed it can always be a piece of Doomsday knocked off off him in a tussle with Superman etc... that infected Reisser instead.
