Lots of talented folk have been posting on this thread this year, so I hope one of you guys nabs a winning or runners-up spot.

Unfortunately for me. labor issues I can not finish my entry the contest, I just finished my first page today, I did not want it to be forgotten and I show it to you, maybe some of the writers will like it and be able to collaborate in the future, good luck everybody.

Your page looks wonderful Tuna, you clearly draw very well, but it is important to remember that you'll never make it in the industry if you don't finish the work. That might sound tough, but there are a lot of talented folk out there, trying to break into the industry. Working in comics isn't just about producing good work, it's about producing good work to a deadline.

Now, I don't know the specifics of why you were unable to complete your sample, but please remember that you had six months to draw five pages. Most working comic book artists need to complete twenty-two pages every month.

Unless something absolutely cataclysmic happened, you should've had the time.

The reason I'm saying this, is because you're actually really good. I mean, you're good enough to win this thing. If I thought otherwise, I wouldn't bother commenting. If you're drawing too slowly, you need to practice and find a way to speed up. If it's down to bad time management, well, get organized and manage your time better.

You have done yourself a massive disservice by not completing your entry. That one page is a thing of beauty.

So, let's hope that Top Cow runs the Talent Hunt again next year, and if they do, make sure you rise to the challenge and complete your entry, because you have a real chance at winning.

I'm all ready to send in my submission but the submission form is PDF locked. Does this mean that I can't sign it digitally? There must be a way...I don't have access to a printer/scanner and I've spent so much time on this.

You could make a screenshot of each page and fill it out in illustrator or photoshop.

I discovered this Talent hunt 8 days ago, and decided to give it a go. I work a full time Job so getting these 5 pages completed was no easy task. There from Postal issue 9. Since I missed the feedback portion of this talent hunt, maybe you guys and gals could let me know what you think. Good luck.

So I finally did it. I managed to complete all 5 pages (pencils only) in this week. I tried so hard to work on those pages before but daily job didnt really gave me a chance. So after submitting my proposal, here I share with you the 5 pages I did for Postal #9.
