Both of the lanterns are rookies and a training together, so it makes sense they are both in he JL.

First off, it's in the JL. JLA is currently an entirely separate team.

Second, it makes perfect sense. Simon and Jessica are partners who share a lantern (Thanks, Hal), so it wouldn't make sense for only one of them to be on the League.

Now if only Hitch actually wrote them with the personalities they have in their own book.

Well if their ''ROOKIES'' maybe they should be TITANS instead of LEAGUERS.ijs

And there will be 3 in Metal, given that Hal is part of the story.

As long as it's not John Stewart-no one cares. Everybody is happy as long as that guy stays in the background of Hal's book.

In their own series, the explanation was that with the larger Green Lantern Corps unable to train them, the Justice League was the best alternative.

After Hal joined JLE in the '90s, they had both him and Guy Gardner in the League.
Granted they were separate squads. But the same team.

I've never been particularly interested in the whole GL mythos with the notable exception of Kyle, so having two GL's on the team really doesn't do much to persuade me to pick it up. Swapping out Martian Manhunter for Cyborg doesn't help, either.
Keep in mind that you have about as much chance of changing my mind as I do of changing yours.

I'm curious to see when we're going to get a genuine shakeup in the JL roster, because when you think about it, it's been nearly 6 years since the start of the New 52 and the core JL lineup of Supes, Bats, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg, and Aquaman has stayed exactly the same.

I don't think Simon or Jessica have done much to liven up the dynamics, either.

John is a big part of the Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps book. He is the leader of the Green Lantern Corps and he has been a major player in the last few story arcs.

That's only because Hitch writes the duo without their personalities.

It's actually an interesting dynamic for the League, even if Hitch hasn't done that much of it.

May be something we see reflected in the movies if they really develop Hal and John as a duo.

The last issue was good with the insect things. We got to see them train with WonderWoman and stuff which was cool.
