Dragon Prince season 4.
few things im watching on Netflix this month
Curse of Bridge Hollow
the new recent Gabriel Iglasias stand up show
Gilmore Girls. rewatching it from the beginning. was and still is a guilty pleasure show i used to watch when it was on WB/CW years ago
Designated Survivor season 2
Does the writing seem more juvenile to you this season? I know the show is aimed at kids, but I don't remember the first 3 seasons being this over the top. The elf fart joke really made me wonder if it was even the same writers. It is not bad but having watched just the first 3 episodes so far the tone of the whole show just seems very different and not for the better.
Right now it's Sandman and Disenchantment, and Shadow & Bone when the next season drops.
Killer Sally.
Chunks of Da 5 Bloods, love this movie.
Beefing up the old home security, huh?You bet yer ass.
The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself, only watch the first two episodes but I've been enjoying it so far.
Watched a good chunk of '28 Days Haunted' last night. Unless they are lying about how the events transpire, it's a fascinating look at how some spirits linger and communicate with people.
Yo. This documentary is fkn FANTASTIC. It isn't just about the Black Hollywood talent as the trailer kind of leads to believe, which would have been cool too. It is much bigger, a look at the entire movie industry from the beginning to a point in the 1970's as an entire group of Americans viewed it and how it was used to depict them. Pre Hip-Hop, vestige's of segregation and some blackface too. Crazy that this was not that long ago either.
God Bless 95 year old, thoughtfull and eloquent and no fucks given Harry Belefonte, his quotes alone was worth sitting through. Laurence Fishburne too.
Who knew one of Issac Hayes's biggest hits came from multiple viewings of movie Once Apon a Time in the West.
So many of the movies just prior to the Blacksploitation era, I've never seen and now I have to look out for. Never seen Putney Swope or Odds Against Tomorrow or The Reivers and a few others. They also must have used clips from nearly a hundred films throughout, reminds me of the MGM That's Entertainment restrspectives from the 80's except much less celebratory for most of it. Shoutout to Elvis Mitchell's narriation too. Very well done piece of cinematic reflection.
Beefing up the old home security, huh?You bet yer ass.
The new Wednesday series (Addams Family). Mystery combined with over the top supernatural horror? Yes please. Plus, the dry humor.
Warrior Nun Season 2
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
Cabinett of Curiosity
Gruesome Horror with suspense and good storys.
