The Dragon Prince. Seems that The Last Airbender finally has a spiritual successor (Korra, while good, just didn't quite have what it needed). Season 1 had some janky animation here and there, but season 2 on, its a LOT better. And story wise, its great. A lot of lore building, interesting background characters, and the main cast is awesome.

Five episodes to go before I finish Star Trek Deep Space Nine. I saw most of the first three seasons about 15-20 years ago but only a few episodes out of the rest so I decided to finally watch it all since I'd heard such great things about it. It is great at times, despite some iffy acting from a few characters, but like all Star Trek series it also has some awful episodes.

6 Underground, just what you would expect from Michael Bay action flick. For good or ill.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Been a while, crazy I've had a Netflix ap on my phone forever and just now finally using it at work when I can. I've realized one pretty cool part of it is re-watching some things I would have bought a physical of at some point that I presumably will have here going forward. OG Star Trek and Twilight Zone anytime I want is sweet. So, rapid fire like what I've been catching up with.

Started Punisher S1 again, damn Berenthal is great. I haven't even gotten to S2 but that's next. I still watch rando episodes of Daredevil every now and again. Finished Iron Fist S2, ehh, not bad. I kind of dug Davos' arc.

Speaking of Berenthal, I've watched Shotcaller like 3 times past couple months. Crazy movie, better in the middle than the end but a hell of a crazy prison ride.

The Irishman. So my favorite Scorsese film ever is Casino (Goodfellas is #2). This movie kinda plays like Scorsese's greatest hits. You can tell when the music and the narration leads up to someone getting their brains spilt over a tracking shot or two. Of course there is entertaining back and forth goomba conversations. Everybody is so old though, loved Joe Pesci as this is his most subdued. Pacino was my favorite here as Hoffa. They didn't do enough with De Niro's daughter though. She was like this cloud over everything the whole time but it never went where I thought it would.

The Dark Crystal...ehhh, I feel High Definition doesn't always make visual more interesting, too shiny, it makes things like sculpts way to glossy. I haven't gotten through the new movie but then the old Dark Crystal from the 80s was on and I haven't watched that more than twice since I saw it in the theater as a kid. It holds up for what it was surprisingly well.

I've been a fan of Dave Chappelle since Half Baked, Sticks and Stones I think was better than the previous two Netflix specials and those were dope as hell too. His stand-up is probably the only stand-up I watch on Netflix, I tried to give Tambourine a watch but Rock is too grating on me at this point. He's still funny but his delivery is too much as of late.

Hip-Hop Evolution has been fantastic and Season 4 just dropped. The music productions on Netflix are always in my rotation. Need to start Clarence Clemons and finish Clive Davis.

Narcos: Mexico season 2 is coming and I need to finish S1 but I dig it.

Started the Dracula show, not grabbing me so far especially with the **** talking nuns but I'll go back to it.

The kids have been wearing out Pets 2 in the algorithm...

Up next to get into is Lost in Space, American Factory and Pandemic: How to Prevent an Outbreak, (as if).

The new show really seems to be bringing this show back in popularity, I am probably going to check it out for the first time ever the next time I get the chance.

Bodyguard, Sabrina, some Chinese fantasy - Once Upon A Time In Lingjian Mountain. The latter started out OK but too many episodes and started to drag. So I went to the last one and didn't feel like I need to view the intermediate 8 to understand the ending.

Re-watching Tales of Arcadia series, as the 3rd and final part is supposed to drop sometime soon (most likely).

I watched Django Unchained on Netflix. It is a good film. Quentin Tarantino is as brilliant a director as ever.

If I had a drink every time a character says the n-word in the Django movie, I would not make it to the end of the film.
