The DickBats era, hands down.
Nightwing in his Bludhaven days is a close second, along with the role that started it all: Robin as the original Dynamic Duo with Batman.

Hopefully now we can get some reprinted trades of that era.

Uh I know! I made the mistake of not collecting the later trades (the ones drawn by Greg Land) and they are now out of print. Maybe with the great reception that Grayson has received, DC will go back to the printer. Oh and I wanted to add one more thing about the Dixon run. I found that much of the stories wasn't predictable or derivative. Dick made mistakes from time to time. He wasn't an idiot but he was far from perfect.

Had to go with the solo in Bludhaven. Loved that run wish more had been done with Soames but Last Laugh happened and since then Nightwing has never recovered as it's been bad story after bad story. Did love him standing in as Batman during Bruce's "death" that came a very close second.
