Put it this way. In Spec #1 alone, we saw Human Torch, Ant-Man, Sam Wilson, and Ironheart. The cover for #2 also promises the Thing, the Champions (Miles, Nova, Cyclops, Ms Marvel and Hulk all shown), Howard the Duck (not really surprising, since Zdarsky previously wrote his book), Squirrel Girl, and Vision.

Now there's speculation that when the Captain America title does come back [it wasn't listed among the Legacy titles], it will be written by Ta Nehisi Coates, so that frees Nick up for something

If the speculation is true about Coates, than I think that could be cool as I've largely enjoyed his Black Panther book personally.
The idea of Ta-Nehisi Coates Captain America is intriguing to me - although I really wanted Spencer to be able to follow up on SE himself. Then again, maybe there'd be no way for him to tell a bigger Cap story. Well, we'll see.
Yeah, as classic as Brubaker's run was, that last volume was a bridge too far. He should've left on a high note. That last volume didn't tarnish what came before but it definitely saw his run limp to a conclusion. I'm sure if he could do it all over again, he just would've exited earlier.
loved Superior Foes!
If handled well I could see a good Cap run coming out of his ideas.
Also, I'm always 100% behind POC writers writing non-POC characters.
I know why companies do it but sometimes I feel writers just get shackled to characters that share the same gender or race as them cuz reasons.

How long before Slott refutes that rumor?
