Default Image Comics poll week 52 - at last an end to this Boneheaded year

Hey guys, gals & everyone in between, it's the last poll of the year! If you're one of the die hards who ventured into a comic shop between the holidays and the new year, let's chat about them here.

Last week the poll was won convincingly by the penultimate issue of Invincible. That's the eighth time Invincible has won our poll this year. I won't yet reveal if that's the most (tune back in next week for the end-of-year pie chart!) but it sure is impressive for a comic in its last year.

This week there's not a lot of comics coming out, but amongst them is Glitterbomb: The Fame Game's last issue, an old character's return in Hack/Slash: Resurrection, the beginning of a new storyline in Outcast, and the Christmas issue of Savage Dragon which features stalking U.S. Nazi's in the great white north.

New however is Bryan Hill's (of Postal) comic produced with Rhoald Marcellius (Contest of Champions over at Marvel), an action story set in the near future called Bonehead. Set in a sprawling megacity (think Judge Dredd), this focuses on gang of neuro-enhanced riot gangs wearing masks and moving around through the magic of parkour. These boneheads are about to plunge the city into all-out gang warfare, but then suddenly a masked bonehead looks to stop them...

This was the first week in 2 and half years I didn't have anything from Image come out. Feels weird.

very slim and unexciting week. Redneck, Void trip and Outcast are all on my pull list, but I cant say I am excited or looking forward to any of them.

Only Outcast this week, though I do flip through Savage Dragon for the hilarious porn content.

Not my first, feels like it's been happening more and more. I thought guys like Hickman quit Marvel so that they'd have a new Image issue per week or something lol

Hack/Slash gets my vote for the return of a certain favorite character of mine (will avoid spoilers).

Ive been enjoying God Complex so ill give Bonehead a look. Otherwise, just Savage Dragon.

Never read Hack/Slash before but tried Resurrection #1 and liked it well enough. Forgot to pick up #2. Hows the series been so far?

Solid. It stills feels a little "off" from the tone of the series before this relaunch, but it is still fun and entertaining.
