PSA: Fantastic Four in Marvel Heroes Omega after July 1st, 2017.

We interrupt the programmation to bring you this important message:

Greetings,
Starting on July 1, 2017, the following Heroes will no longer be available to purchase with Gs: Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Thing, Human Torch, and Silver Surfer. You will have until Wednesday (6/28) at 2:00PM PDT to purchase those heroes with Eternity Splinters. This change will also affect all costumes for those characters as well as Future Foundation costumes for other characters. See below for the full list. Please note that this upcoming change will not affect Doctor Doom, who will remain as a playable Villain and maintain his role in the game’s story campaign.
Under Gazillion’s renewed licensing agreement we do not have the rights to continue selling these characters moving forward. However, players who have already purchased or unlocked any of these affected characters and costumes before July 1 will be able to them continue playing them as usual.
Here are some more details:
As mentioned, if you already own any of the affected Heroes or costumes, you will still be able to use them as always.
Achievements and Login Rewards that currently award a H.E.R.B.I.E. will offer new rewards.
Fantastic Four and Silver Surfer-related achievements will remain, but will not be attainable without these Heroes.

Dismarvel is petty. Nobody forced them to sell those licences back when they were financially KO. The FF , and the mutants saved them back in the day , it was not groot or Dr Strange. Trends change, Downey Jr contract is not eternal , they will regret this petty behavior one day

He's not immune - they had to change his default from Future Foundation to classic green (is Infamous Iron Man in the game? Should've used that).

I really do hope they get the rights to the FF back because I fear Ike will honestly do everything in his power to destroy the property out of spite. And FF aren't as big as X-Men who are too big to completely sideline in the comics. They could easily be shut down despite being the bedrock of the entire Marvel Universe

I only care about the comic side of things besides at least marvel is still doing something with Ben Grimm/the thing and Johnny Storm/human torch with Ben and Johnny getting their own series with marvel two in one, and Johnny remaining with the uncanny avengers, and victor von doom as the infamous iron man over in infamous iron man which will then carry over to invincible iron man as part of legacy when infamous iron man ends in September on issue 12.

It's not Disney that's doing this. Disney clearly doesn't care about the comics division outside of being a cheap IP farm. Marvel itself I wouldn't blame either since they let tons of writers praise or tribute the first family in the books. This is clearly about marketing and letting the IP's exist in multiple media formats. The one man who seems hellbent on starving Fox and fighting a petty fight is the guy who makes these ridiculous mandates. Mandates that can be found all over the net and notably in Marvel Comics The Untold Story. Mr. P himself, the old vampire who hides in the shadows.

Also, the Fantastic Four's film rights were sold before the financial troubles. This was back when they just diversified their portfolio in the 70's and 80's.

The only reason that X men didnt suffered the same fate is because they are too big of a deal . But if they feel they coul do away with them like they did with the FF , no doubt, they would do it.

He still gets to stay in the game while the rest of the F4 characters are getting snubbed. He has immunity.
