Default Image Comics poll week 25 - Crosswind! September Mourning! Shirtless Bears!

Welcome back to the weekly Image poll y'all! Slight delay this week, but Image veterans will surely be used to that!

So last week's poll saw a looot of books scramble a vote or two, but none received more than Green Valley #9! A fitting end to the series, which has won a lot of polls over the duration of its run.

Delving into this week, we've got the ends of both The Few and God Country which wrap up their runs. Royal City is close too, hitting its penultimae issue this week. Other, less permanent ends can be observed in the pages of Eclipse, The Old Guard, and Horizon this week, which all end their storylines. There's also some reprinting going on for GRRL Scouts: Magic Socks, Plastic, and Redneck.

Add to that three new series and it's quite a week!
    1. Gail Simone's new series Crosswind promises to blend Goodfellas with Freaky Friday in a slick, crime-ridden bodyswap story.
    2. September Mourning sees the first human/grim reaper hybrid who gets instructed by her tattoo and the voice of a "skullfly" with ridding the world of worthless people. Who hasn't followed orders from their talking tattoos?
    3. He's been raised by bears, eats flapjacks, and is the only hope of Major City... It's the Shirtless Bear-fighter! Our hero gets called on to what he does best (punch bears whilst shirtless), but a conspiracy appears to be afoot...

Nothing for me this week. But it was a good week for comics overall, so I'm not exactly crying into my camomile over it.

The best series around was out this week so Invincible gets the auto vote.

My god--look at all the Image titles! And this week? I got only Old Guard, which I'm enjoying in passing, but feel as though I wouldn't have missed it, had I not subscribed. Ah well. Voted for the one I got.

Head Lopper had another good one this week, so I voted for that over Horizon. Just a shame Head Lopper doesn't publish as often. But then again I'd rather it's done well than rushed!

Shirtless Bearfighter was incredibly funny. I also enjoyed the conclusion of God Country. The Old Guard was okay, didn't enjoy this issue as much.
