I always liked ASM #28, Molten Man's first appearance. They start out fighting in MM's apartment and totally trash the place. They then proceed to break through the door, fall down a flight of stairs, and continue fighting from the lobby to the building's basement. The art by Ditko is absolutely fantastic.

I personally liked his fight with DD way back during his black suit/angry phase even though it sort of affected his ability to fight but it was just so raw at the time I was amazed. I don't know if it was his best fight rather than his most entertaining to me.

The first battle with Morlun comes to mind. Great villains and truly scary.

Venom (Mac Gargan) fight in Marvel Knights #11 was also great.

The PS4 game pretty much nailed every big fight imo. Electro/Vulture was great and the Dr Ock battle at the end was great. Probably proved to me after several years WHY the villain can actually be a threat.

Ultimate Spidey had some fantastic fights against The Green Goblin. I also liked the battle against Doc Ock in the Ultimate Clone Saga.

It’s strange...I thought I’d find a lot more than that but in terms of fights I can’t think of many that truly took him there to be the best.
