Default Are Spider-Man stories a very dificult series to be illustrated?

Having read that artists find the Spider-Man costume difficult to illustrate,i wonder if Spider-Man stories is not one of the characters more difficult to artists and inkers.
Usually Spider-Man stories have plenty of variety of scenarios (cough compared to Batman stories that happen always in the night and have a "easy" costume to illustrate cough) and the Spider-Man costume is difficult enough to artist and inkers.
So one have to wonder if for artist and inkers illustrating Spider-Man stories is way more difficult to illustrate that any other comic book character.

At least in the case of his costume, it is established that a lot of the reason why Spider-man possess alternate costumes is because the red and blue can get too complicated with all the webbing. It's one of the reasons the black suit exists in the first place as a means of making things easier on the artists. I would imagine part of the reason that both Scarlet Spider costumes are so popular is because they are that simple. The best costumes are always the simplest and when it comes to the red and blue, it changes with artist preference or the costume is altered to keep the design streamlined.

    Thanks for the info.
I did not knew that this was the reason for the black suit be made in comics.
I just knew that the black suit was made by a fan,and that Editor Jim Shooter bought the idea from the fan.
But i always thought it was just because Jim Shooter wanted to Spider-Man have a new costume.

It is a costume that's difficult to do well. It's a reason there are some world-class artists (Jack Kirby, John Buscema, George Perez) who struggle with Spidey.
    Sincerely,
