Peter parker wishlist for 2018

2. A romantic relationship despite the parker luck.
3. MJ as at least a close friend.
4. Peter as a self relient loner again.
5. Peter's friends from the Bugle and ESU.
6. No more teams where Peter is a useless court jester.
7. Peter having some happy and successful moments every once in a while.

If they must go back to basics, then they should make Peter competent and self relient again.

Black Cat back to being friends with Spidey, and assuming Parker is still running PI, maybe he could offer her a job. This one is not related to Spidey, but assuming Mockingbird and Silver Sable are still love interests for him, and if Hardy gets back to being friends with Peter, the three girls have a competition over Peter lol

2- A love interest, it's been too long since Peter had a proper relationship (no, Lien Tang doesn't count as one)
3- Bring back MJ, preferably as main love interest, if not, as a long time friend that truly worries about Peter despite how hard has to be befriending someone that risks his life everyday.
4- Teresa and MJ become besties
5- Spidey is fun, but not annoying.
6- Spidey is competent, self reliant and respected by other heroes in the way a guy that has been saving the world for half his life ought to.

1. No team books for Peter if all he's going to contribute is jokes and comedy relief, or other heroes disrespecting him for little to no reason.

2. Toning down of the super-science and the gadgets. Peter's smart, he enjoys science, and he can develop cool tech, but I think it's really becoming too much at this point.

3. Peter to actually remember he's supposed to care about Felicia and try to help her instead of letting all the other Spiders or Superhero community deal with her.

4. Peter to act like an adult and competent Superhero on a more consistent basis, one that doesn't need to be reminded not to act goofy or dumb (Cough)Anna Maria Marconi (Cough) or need saving or backup by other people/spiders practically every arc. I shouldn't be seeing this in the PS4 Spider-Man game rather then in the comics.

5. If we're going to have some kind of makeshift "Spider-Family," then maybe actually develop Peter's relationship with these other Spiders and show him as a figure worth respecting to the younger ones.

6. Peter to start really interacting with the people he's known for decades, like MJ, Robbie, Flash, Betty, Glory, etc.

7. The new Spider-Man cartoon to be good and have a strong, true, take on Peter, Spider-Man, and his supporting cast. The boat has kind of sailed on it looking as good as other cartoons on the air right now, but I guess I'll have to live with that.

8. A re-focusing on a relatively more grounded, street-level, Spider-Man rather then the wacky adventures he's been going on in the past few years.

-Teresa Parker becomes part of main cast as Peter's only biological familial relation

-A completely new villain.

-No more bull about youth. Peter Parker is a thirty something grown ass mature male who is timelessly relatable.

-Spider Man vs his entire rogues gallery in Battleground New York. Saves NY all on his own against all his major villains while all the heroes of the world just stand and watch his awesomeness.

-Peter not getting one uped by the inferior legacies or be made to be a joke character.

-Better humor. Spider Man roasting his foes.

*Do something interesting with Aunt May (I really miss the days when she knew Peter's secret identity)

*Have Spidey and The Black Cat come to some sort of understanding

*Have better humor

*I love Doc Ock, but I think an extended break from him would be for the best

*Dan Slott has written some good stories, but I think it's time for a new writer on the title

*Reintegrate the classic supporting cast (Jonah Jameson, Robbie Robertson, Betty Brant) back into the series

*Have cool action sequences

1. If PI does end, have Peter create a new, small science/tech start-up where Peter is solely in a research and development role.
2. MJ has a bigger presence in the book and hints at them getting back together.
3. Peter develops more varied and more powerful armours and tech for Spider-Man, as well as for other superheroes.
4. Give his classic rogues gallery power upgrades so they can still feasibly take on the much more powerful Spider-Man. (Ex. Rhino undergoes genetic experiments that increase his strength and durability to Hulk level, or Green Goblin steals Peter's armor tech and merges it with his own, or Lizard gains camouflage and increased hypnosis abilities, or Electro gains fundamental control over the electromagnetic force, etc.)
5. Bring back some of the supporting cast from the Bugle (perhaps they have an exclusive deal with Peter's new company to publicize all the scientific breakthroughs Peter makes).
6. A better mix between street-level and global stories (for street-level stories, make it more about Peter facing an intellectual challenge and trying to solve mysteries or broker peace between different gangs, rather than making Peter seem weak by having these gangs actually pose a physical threat).
7. Black Cat redemption
8. Peter takes on a more respected and veteran role in the superhero community, and maybe even leads his own team on occasion. Kind of like a middle ground between Captain America and Iron Man.
