It didn't help. Neither did that horrible scene in Avengers where the Hood and his gang beat her down and videotaped it. It was as cringe-worthy as when Hank Pym back-handed Janet in the early 80s.

The fastest way to get Tigra back in a regular series is to find a hero in desperate need of a girlfriend. Bring back the bikini. She looks weird with the cheap widow gear.

So yeah, hero in need of a girlfriend is where you'll find Tigra.

Marvel hasn’t produced an all ages comic in years though or anything under T+.

The Cat was never a cop; her husband was -- in Chicago, though that seems to have been retconned to NY. (Yes, I know Tigra became and maybe still is a cop.)

The Cat's book only lasted four issues. But I loved her.

I was referring to Tigra's bold & daring outfit posted above.

    I hear you.

I'm just wondering : are kids allow to go to the beach nowadays? Or at the museum to see paintings?

Btw I've always thought that making animals and especially cats wear clothes was just so cruel.

    All True!

I loved Greer as The Cat. She was my first Marvel Cat-Lady love.

I also like her as Tigra, especially since her Tigra form gives her greater speed, strength, agility, senses, etc.

But in sum, for characters like Tigra, like Beast, like Iceman etc, their altered form IS their costume and its a mistake to cover it up with conventional costumes or tactical gear. It conceals too much character design.

The new Tigra looks a lot like one of the last rounds of revamps of the DC villain Cheetah before the most recent Wonder Woman relaunch. That said, if Tigra is to resemble a DC character in costume, can she go borrow something from Vixen? A lady named after a fox wearing tiger stripes still irks me.
