Default Jay Garrick (Golden Age Flash) appreciation thread

Still waiting to see if / how / when he finally returns (for more than just a few pages until he's gone to wherever again).

Yup, the only hero I have know that got his powers during a smoke break.

If Geoff Johns is involved, it IS unique (unfortunately).

I am annoyed that Jay didn't come back at the end of the button.

Jay Garrick Flash is one of my three main characters used when playing Injustice 2. My second favorite Flash after Barry.

    Tell me about it . . .
I get to the point where I doubt DC will do something, but then there's this niggling little voice saying "But what if they do?!?"
So, I give in and buy four issues I normally wouldn't have bought.
It was good to see Jay (briefly), but then they took him away without setting up a likely next appearance in the foreseeable future. (And, aside from Jay, the rest of the four issues definitely weren't worth my money or my time!)

The more JSA I read the more Jay Garrick is becoming my favorite Flash.

NOTE: In case anyone didn't know / forgot, Jay was not always the cover-feature on Flash Comics.

First time I saw Jay was back in 1973 in the first issue of Secret Origins, though he was only on the cover of the comic Barry was reading. It wasn't until a couple of years later when I started buying All-Star Comics that I saw him in action on a regular basis. The Flash my father read as a child, I also thought he was special (and still do).
    A bat! That's it! It's an omen.. I'll shall become a bat!

The first time I saw most of those Golden Age characters was when I read Justice League of America #101 & #102.

For some reason, the JSA members seemed even cooler to me than the JLA members!
