I know. I would much rather watch a show with him instead of Grant Gustin.
I just rewatched the Flash TV pilot from the 90s. That show is still really good. I think the guy who played Jay there was really good. Would have liked to see him and Barry interact there more.
Also I wouldn't mind seeing Jay as Barrys older brother in some continuity after seeing the show do such a good job of it.
Maybe have three brothers Jay, Barry and Wally in an Elseworld. Coud be fun.

Of all the Golden Age Flash artists, Martin Naydel was the only one that really did a poor job, in my opinion. I like E. E. Hibbard's art, and of course Lee Elias and Carmine Infantino drew the character well.
It's interesting that DC had the story redrawn. Any idea how many stories were redrawn in that way?

There was another story from All-Flash #22 (April-May 1946) that was redone:
and the redraw version for Four Star Spectacular #1 (March-April 1976)
though I don't know if the quality issues they were saying were a problem were with the original art (drawing) itself or the condition of whatever they may have had available to reproduce it from. (We are talking over forty years ago when they were doing this).
