    As an artist friend of mine put it: Alex Ross is not of this earth! His work is breath taking.

    Very cool. But I like the Flash cover better. A lot more dynamic.

    Both iconic comic images.
    I still think Kingdom Come was Alex Ross' high water mark.
    Then daylight, then Marvels.
    Kingdom Come was the perfect storm. The right time with a great writer, artist and a story that highlighted why the DCU was so great when juxtaposed against the 'Image' like newer heroes.
