Spider-Gwen - Not enjoying this at all. It feels really pointless.

A-Force - Blah. The characters are cool when they work together like this. But the story just isn't good.

She-Hulk - Not referring to the newest books. Just in general. I feel the She-Hulk books are definitely the best female Marvel title out there.

Spider-Woman - Not bad. Well written and brings a new concept to Superhero-ism. I enjoy it.

Captain Marvel - Haven't really enjoyed this that much. Pretty underwhelming so far.

Jane Thor - Thought this seriously sucked at first, but got better.

Ms. Marvel - Enjoying this a lot. Great stories, however I just don't like this Kamala character at all.

If it isn't the X-Ladies I just don't think that much about these female counterparts. If you ask me, Misty Knight, Black Widow, Spider-Woman, Kamala, She-Hulk are the only females that are worth having their own books.
Kinda sad that A-Force didn't really blow up. It was a fairly novel concept.

I will say that Ms. Marvel, Thor and She-Hulk are among the strongest of the female-led books so far. All three embraced their new directions and backed it up with some good writing and characterization.

I don't think it's dead yet. We are going to see a toy set of them in the fall.

Something about A-Force just din't click for me, I can't put my finger on it. I liked it much better in Secret Wars than I did in 616.

Only two of those - Jennifer and Singularity - are actually part of the team.

Well maybe a change in roster? Although if they do a change I want Marvel to do a poll/contest to decide who can join.

Not that I'm claiming this is the same as actual sales figures, but I figured I'd list these series from the most number of issues per volume to a minimum of 10 issues, which I'm sure can still give more or less of an idea in regards to success:

Anything that relaunched due to Secret Wars and didn't change writer should be counted as a single run. That applies to Ms. Marvel, Silk, Squirrel Girl, Spider-Woman, and Spider-Gwen.

There's also a discrepancy with currently running books. You have Captain Marvel listed as ten issues, which is what's been published, but you also have Magnificent Ms Marvel as ten issues, which is what's been solicited. If you're going up to December 2019, Captain Marvel should be on 13 issues. If you're only listing up to September, Kamala's current book shouldn't even be listed, as she only has 7 issues.

And you omitted Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, which publishes it's 47th and final issue on Wednesday.

I'm guessing this list is just based on 'title characters' of solo runs, because otherwise Jessica Jones would get a bit more coverage from Alias which ran for 28 issues (and perhaps The Pulse, which ran for 14, though arguably that's more of an ensemble).

Looking through that list, I've read these ones:

Ms Marvel (Kamala Khan)- I love Kamala's solo adventures. It helps that she has a good supporting cast.

Black Widow- I've read the 2010, 2014, and 2016 runs, and I enjoyed all of them. I agree with what somebody else said earlier in the thread- rather than giving her an ongoing, it makes sense to let writers tell the stories they want to tell with her and then move on.

Captain Marvel- I've read some of KSD's run, but I'm not really a fan. I started reading 'The Life of Captain Marvel' and enjoyed the stuff with her family though.

Spider-Gwen- I have mixed feelings about this one, but I realised after I'd started the series that I'd missed the original 5-issue run, so I might try again. I liked some aspects of Gwen's reality (like Kingpin Matt Murdoch) but found other parts (like her friends/ bandmates) underwhelming.

Patsy Walker AKA Hellcat- This was a fun, light series, and it's too bad it couldn't run for longer. One thing that threw me off was how young Patsy seemed- she came across more like a teenager than an adult.

She-Hulk (2014)- This was okay. I've never been a big fan of the Hulk himself, but I like the fact that Jennifer gets to keep her intelligence when hulked out. I'll probably check out some of her other runs.

Hawkeye- I'll be honest, when reading the Young Avengers series I was never a big fan of Kate Bishop. However, I really enjoyed her solo run- great art, fun writing. It's too bad that West Coast Avengers got cancelled- Thompson was doing some good stuff with Kate.

Jessica Jones/ Alias- Love Jessica, in both Bendis and Thompson's runs. If she gets another series in the future I'd like to see less Purple Man stuff though.

Spider-Woman ('Hopeless' run)- I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. Jess has a good dynamic with Robbie and Porcupine, and I liked the stuff with her raising her new kid.

To keep things relatively simple and for the sake of consitency, I figured to only list series if the character's name was in the title, which led me to not listing Alias even though I listed Jessica Jones. There's also Fear Itself: The Fearless, featuring Valkyrie.

Yeah, I imagine once you get into stuff without character names in the title, things would get pretty complicated.

Dennis Hopeless run on Spider-Woman was actually 27 issues...there were 10 issues prior to Secret Wars and 17 after that.

I loved A-Force and would very much like to see it come back. Or have the Daughters of Liberty from Coates Captain America get their own series
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

I'm surprised we haven't gotten a Quake solo or at least a mini series.

According to Marvel wikia, these are the top 10 female heroes with the highest number of 616-universe comic appearances.

    1. Storm - 1889
    2. Invisible Woman - 1821
    3. Captain Marvel - 1424
    4. Scarlet Witch - 1408
    5. Wasp - 1280
    6. Jean Grey - 1269
    7. Black Widow - 1261
    8. She-Hulk - 1214
    9. Mary Jane - 1170
    10. Kitty Pryde - 1134

With Mary Jane and Invisible Woman getting minis this year, that leaves Janet van Dyne to be the only one in the list to not have a solo or a mini series. Shame.
