So what are fans' opinions on his additional, Gifted abilities of Mutant tracking & precog, "T-bird sense"? I really like them, and that they tie into his cultural beliefs. Also, that they move him beyond just being a bruisin' brawler/tank-type character, utility-wise. It differentiates him, sets him apart, & makes him more unique, IMO.

Agreed, and hopefully the big, upcoming 2-hour season finale, will give us that.

LOVE this last image, he looks so pensive in it. Which is the way I now imagine him a lot, thanks to The Gifted. 8)

Agreed 100%.

Without a doubt one of Dave Cockrum's best designs, and that's saying a lot, considering that I think of him as one of the best costume designer in all of comics.

I have always liked John in the comics and was so sad when they ended him so early in the comics.

I really like the TV Thunderbird and actor who portrays him. Perhaps the comic John will return to us?
