In Quantum and Woody #10, Woody named the goat "Vincent Van Goat" for the first time though Woody stated that Vincent is not a goat but an "uber-sheep" and "Vincent Van Goat" is his secret identity.


How did Vincent Van Goat become Quantum and Woody's father?
Dr. Platzhalter ( When Derek Henderson was still alive, he was working as a lab assistant to Dr. Platzhalter) created a device capable of restoring the full mind and thought patterns of any chosen test subject. During an impromptu demonstration, a lab accident happened which resulted to the transfer of a copy of Derek Henderson's mind into a female goat. And that's how the goat became Quantum and Woody's father.

I'm actually confused if I should address Vincent Van Goat as a "he" or as a "she"

Well, the mind may be Derek Henderson's, but the body is a female goat so...

Prolly we should address the goat as a female eventhough the name of the goat is more of a male name.
