I personally loved this issue actually its the only one of the rebirth that i'ved collected.and even though I love me some MERA I wont buy anymore issues if hitch is drawing or writing the book.

I've thoroughly enjoyed the issues without Hitch. To the point where I wouldn't mind one bit if either Shea Fontana or Dan Abnett were the regular writers.

Now as far as Mera "taking down the League" too easily? I say baloney!

It was a combination of her awesome power, and the restraint of the Justice League since she's Aquaman's woman, and also a friend of theirs. The whole thing was handled very well by Abnett IMO.

I don't see the problem. The fight was used to show unfamiliar readers what Mera can do in a fight. I'd say it did its job.

To be fair, the League does have this bad habit of being creatures of mostly water. Immensely powerful mostly water, but still mostly water.
