Long before the Illuminati there was...The Order! Elisa Sinclair tells Tony about a side of his father that he never knew. He was never a member of HYDRA although he was heavily sought after. Rather he was a part of a group known as The Order, a hidden enclave who secretly protected and shaped the future of Earth. It was a group whose members included Nathaniel Richards, King T'Chaka of Wakanda, Queen Fen of Atlantis, the vampire hunter Blade, Fah So Lee, daughter of Fu Manchu and Tony's father Howard. There were times when HYDRA and The Order were at odds and other times when they shared a common goal or enemy. But it wasn't HYDRA that ended The Order, it was another member, one of their own who betrayed them. A betrayal which culminated in the deaths of Fen, Howard and T'Chaka and caused Nathaniel Richards to be lost in time. Blade and Fah So Lee pursued their own agendas, immersing themselves into the shadows. The identity of the seventh member was never revealed and no one knows why they betrayed their own. With the truth revealed, Elsa insists Tony sign the alliance with HYDRA so that they can ensure a better future. Tony kisses Elisa and walks out of the room saying he could never work with an organization that would try to kill his father! But now he has a new mystery to figure out. A MESS."), the team learns what it must do: Punisher 2099 and Silver Sable must go on a literal witch hunt to eliminate the socialist sorcerer supreme. ("Too bad I can't help, nobody is better at hunting witches than me. Believe me."). Tigra and Harry Osborn must somehow trick the New York Times into printing its own name backwards as a counterspell. Finally, Red Hulk and U.S. Agent must unlock the powers of Trump's own young son Barron, upon whom a wizard was said to have bestowed the timeliness of Cronus, the knowledge of Osiris, the beauty of Venus, the luck of Fortuna, the charm of Eros, the benevolence of Freyja, and the speed of Ewah. Love is the the air... or is that poisonous gas? The good news is that the New Dawn editors haven't pulled Harley Quinn from my book yet. The bad news is that she's started a war with Madam Masque in my universe! (Chicks, amirite?). Apparently the Madame has been up to some inter-dimensional mischief and was smuggling super-weapons from Gotham (which is like a crime-ier New York City in New Jersey (ew)) to her Maggia family here. Inventory list includes freeze guns, mind control hats, and mutagen that makes you turn into an anthropomorphic bat. (All $&@# we have here, but that's more abundant and therefore cheaper over there - the laws of supply and demand are multiversal). Anywho, Harley found out about it and tried to smash the operation with a giant mallet (genius, really). Now she's in a classic team-up with yours truly (the Merc with a Mouth, Deadpool), and the fight/romance is going to take us back to her hometown. I really want this to work, so I sure hope she doesn't have any crazy ex-boyfriends I have to worry about... (hint, hint - I'm talking about me fighting the Joker!).
And oh yeah, Carmen Sandiego stole the Juggernaut's Crimson Gem of Sippy-cup or whatever it's called (his mega-steroid jewelry) for HYDRA and my team's trying to get it back. You can read that B story here too.

So insidious was HYDRA's operation, that even if confronted with the truth, few would believe it. The only solution is to eliminate the prime conspirator before his scheme to topple the United States succeeds in 2018, and the rest of the world falls shortly thereafter. Baron Strucker must die! So what's the point? The halcyon days of printed press are over, the idea itself alien to the next generation, one should embrace the digital, disposable media world of today. But Eddie Brock you see, he is what they used to call old school and besides he knows a thing or two about dying, a little about webs, and even more about really "connecting."
• San Francisco may have been cathartic for a time but proved to only mask the loneliness and unfulfillment he's felt since his life was torn apart the last time around. He needs to find the Dagda, king of the Celtic Gods and get him to pause the sun for nine months and turn those nine months into one day just like the Dagda did when he was a very naughty Dagda indeed and had to hide a little affair. It seems this young German woman's name was Eva Braun and there's a little complication they need to take care of. The Captain's first thought was how to rub this, quite literally, In Hitler's face. He was convinced, at great length, not to and settled for pinging Captain America a telegram starting "You only punched Hitler in the face. Stop. Goody Bloody Two Shoes. Stop. Guess where I just punched him? Stop..." Now he owes a God a favour and needs to et Eva out of Nazi Germany for a day or two.

They know of Doom's plan and are rolling the dice on S.H.I.E.L.D'S time travel equipment still being functional. Bishop has the clearance codes, they just have to fight they're way through millions of Things and for the machine to still be there. The Things have learnt of Doom's plan too though and the Red Skull knows all about this Police Time Division of SHIELD's, one last obstacle awaits them as The Skull grins in the dark waiting for Bishop to take him home!

New Orleans has successfully opened its doors but in doing so, attracts a lot of the anti-mutant public figures looking to tear it down including talk show host Jerold Riker. Riker agrees to arrange an interview with Keats live on air, but hours before Keats' interview, the Mayor finds himself dosed with a lethal poison and trapped in a shopping mall as toxic gas descends around it from the outside. Luckily for Keats however members of the Brotherhood of Mutants, Scott Summers, Blink and Sunfire, happen to be taking some downtime in the local mall and leap to Keats' safety when the Purifiers use the gas as a distraction to incite a city-wide anti-mutant riot! Can Scott and Keats work together to preach a message of unity, not fear? Or will it all be undone by a sniper's bullet?

And it would absorb that which it interacted with, so that it could survive. The Negative Zone monsters could never have been aware of this, and if they had they may very well not have driven the scientist mad with the pain they inflicted on him first. Madness which every cell remembered! Bucky knows where the parasite came from, but what can Doom do with such information to save the world?
