One question I had involves the breaking into the tower scene. Right before her jump, there is an oddly out of place animal staring at her. Was that a stag? If so, is this a subtle hint that the gods are still alive? (Stag=Artemis) Sure it could be just a random animal but it seemed very oddly placed.

Definitely not a stag. It was something in the bovine family. If it WAS supposed to be a sign of one of the gods, then it's a sign of Hera. The cow was her sacred animal.
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days

One equal temper of heroic hearts,

That suggests that they are NOT isolated, to be honest. Not to mention they could reverse engineer a lot of stuff on their own...they may not know certain things, but they're not stupid...

    4. Are all the gods really dead?
    5. Did Zeus really create mankind?
    6. Is Paradise Island now visible to the modern world? Where it would be situated? I guess near Europe if Steve and Diana made it there on a short time
    7. What happened to the Nazi battle ship?
    8. Where does WW get her new sword?
    9. What will the amazons be doing now that they know their warrior skills ain't going to do much against much modern weaponry, and even soldiers nowadays are more hardened and skilled
    10. What happened to the Native demi-god in the movie?

    1. She's a god. Ares made it very clear with his "only a god can kill another god" line.

    2. Patty has said that her powers evolve/grow over time. So perhaps even she doesn't know the full extend of Diana's powers yet, because they haven't been decided on yet.

    3. If they feel like they have a worthy story to tell with him, then he'll be back. If not, then he's almost certainly dead. Everything in the movie points to that being the case.

    4. See #3.

    5. Most religions have such a story, whether it's true or not isn't all that relevant right now.

    6. It's not. The Germans didn't see it (one of them even said "where did all this fog come from") and they only saw it once one of them literally put his hand through the barrier (and it vanished once Diana and Steve left). It's also nowhere near Europe, given Steve's trajectory. It's most likely somewhere in the Eastern Mediterranean (perhaps near Greece).

    7. It was a destroyer, not a battleship. And if you look closely, you see it listing to one side heavily. Plus you hear a loud noise. So, it hit a reef, or some underwater rocks, and sank.

    8. She had it made specially, or she found it on her travels, etc. Doesn't really matter imo.

    9. The Amazons completely wiped out those trained German soldiers on the beach, despite the latter being armed with (for 1918) modern-weapons. Yes the Amazons suffered some loses themselves, but nowhere near on the level that the Germans did. So it would seem that in terms of training, the Amazons outmatch "modern" soldiers pretty easily.

    10. Good question, hopefully that's clarified in a future film.

Since languages are always evolving it is possible that the early amazons spoke archacic versions of languages and each language evolved. Or the gods just gave them the power to do it. I don't know. Its a movie.

I mean what do you expect when the Amazons are physically stronger, had the homefield advantage and horses. Take away all that and the outcome would have been a lot different. Not that I mind. I like the Amazons being above a normal human.

Anyways, to answer the questions to my ability:

    1. Everything seems to contradict itself so I'm not answering this one.
    2. Ever evolving.
    3. Likely. But he wasn't the incarnation of rage/evil itself so the world willgo on without him.
    4. Probably.
    5. Virtually every religion and lores of gods and pantheons have a creation story with their twist.
    6. No. East Med.
    7. Sunk.
    8. 100 years is a long time. Maybe she found it or the Amazons made her a new one.
    9. They have superior physicals and the potential to mass produce bracelets that can block many things. They don't need to change anything honestly.
    10. Probably left to find be in his own place.

If they spoke the archaic versions which then evolved seperately from actual modern French and English she would not be able to communicate at all with people from Man's world.

    Its a movie.
That's like "it's a comic, nobody expects it to make sense.

That German ship sank near their island. They may be able to salvage useful technology from it.

It would be pretty cool if Diana comes back to Themiscyra and finds the Amazons are at least moving in the right direction to become the advanced society Marston envisioned.
They might need more than WW1 technology to be moving in that direction though

We advanced just fine from WWI level technology over the last century. And we didn't even have the benefit of a full century of peace to work with.

War and the threat thereof tends to help innovation along.

True, but it would be easy enough to say that the German attack was enough to get the Amazons to realize that more men might find their way to the island. The threat of another attack may be enough to spur them into continuing to innovate.

Maybe, or maybe not, they may just take comfort in the fact that they won and say the casualties were acceptable. Plus I am suspecting the Amazons know that it's possible to blunder into their island, but the frequency is very low.

Interesting part is to see how they fought the forces of Apokalips who ought to be more advanced than WW Soldiers to say the very least, technologically at least and in mobility in the Justice League movie--unless the gods helped them in some way (and left themselves vulnerable for Ares to fairly kill them easily in the process or through the help of Darkseid possibly. After all, the story said when the gods rallied in defense of the amazons, Ares killed them one by one? But just a theory, of course.

They didn't fight off Apokalips by themselves. They did so with the help of the Atlantians and the rest of the world.

    IMHO:

    1. Full goddess. BUT, the Olympian gods are clearly not quite as "godly" as myths would have us believe since Ares was purportedly capable of killing them all off. So, a goddess, but not a "goddess" as many people would probably presume based on Greek myths alone.

    2. Who knows. That is something that Patty Jenkins intends to explore further in the sequel (IF there is one). I'm not sure she was destroying the projectiles with her mind so much as they imploded on the protective barrier that she had erected around her. But, the SFX in that moment were a little unclear about what was actually happening.

    3. Maybe. Probably not. It depends how many sequels Wonder Woman gets and whether the writers ever feel the need to re-use the character. For now, he seems to be dead (but that's what Zeus supposedly thought as well).

    4. Maybe. Probably not. If Ares could survive Zeus "killing" him, then perhaps the other gods were able to survive their "deaths" at the hands of Ares. We won't know unless someone decides to use one or more of the Olympians in a future movie.

    5. Probably not. We're just hearing Hippolyta's version of the myth of mankind's creation, which was probably started by Zeus himself. Zeus probably just rewrote history to suit his own purposes.

    6. I don't think so. It was temporarily "visible" because Diana unleashed her godly powers and destabilised the protective barrier long enough for Themyscira to be found by Steve Trevor and the Germans. I have no idea "where" it is. Presumably somewhere near Turkey since that is where Steve Trevor was flying from. I think the movie simply skipped the days / weeks that Steve and Diana spent on the boat for efficiency. I don't think we're meant to believe that they reached London overnight. From memory, Diana went to sleep with her hair in a ponytail (or braid), yet when they arrived in London it was loose. It's a small indication that they didn't arrive in London the very next day.

    7. It crashed onto some rocks / the reef around the island and sank (or was marooned). Hopefully, the Amazons then scouted the ship for technology, reverse engineered and improved it in order to beef-up their own weaponry.

    8. Diana is an antiquities dealer / curator for Louvre who apparently specialises in ancient weaponry, armour, etc. Presumably, Diana has spent a good portion of the 100 years between WW1 and Dawn of Justice travelling the world and retrieving various magical / mystical artefacts before they could fall into the hands of baddies and be used for nefarious purposes. On one of those missions, she found the magical sword of Athena and decided to keep it for herself. Same for the shield she carries in DoJ (and Justice League).

    9. Hopefully the Amazons will retrieve the Germans' weaponry from the beach and the battle ship, study it, reverse engineer it and develop their own weaponry or defensive capabilities. It's possible that they will also seek to improve their armour. That seems to be the most logical step for the Amazons, a warrior race dedicated to protecting their homeland, to take.

    10. He went on many adventures, found the love of his life and lived happily ever after. Or he died on the way back to his home planet.
