7 Man X Dream Team

Heh, when you have to have people on the forums looking up your characters, they are way too obscure for regular use.

So, assuming there is only 1 X-book and the characters aren't being used elsewhere, my team of X-men would have to be:

1. Storm
2. Wolverine
3. Colossus
4. Nightcrawler
5. Rogue
6. Psylocke
7. SunFire

I like the international flair(each from a different country), 3 women, 4 men, with the mix of powers, all very powerful(I love Jamie Maddrox and some of the second tier mutants but they are just not strong enough for the starting team, IMO).

Note: If team has to consist of existing characters then I would bring in M to build love interest with Bishop. If I couldn't get M then I would have Rachel Summers aka Prestige build a love interest with Nightcrawler.

Some have worked together before, some haven't -- so a mix of the familiar & also the new. The potential is definitely there for some interesting dynamics & team-ups/power displays. But most importantly... it's a team of X-Men that aren't already on other X-teams or have solos, because I'm so over & sick of that ish with the X-verse. And no derivative of Wolverine whatsoever

My ideal X-franchise would have two main teams: one focused in solving problems in a less idealistic way, and another more lighthearted and working to better human-mutant relationships, with connections to pop culture and etc.
