I've been buying it out of loyalty, but I'm not excited about it. I keep wanting it to be great, but It's just not hitting all the marks for me.
Here are my issues:
Kitty-horrible costume, bad dialogue (always sounds like she's playing at being leader), doesn't come across as a natural leader. and marvel really needs to get her a decent costume.
Old Man Logan-I hated Wolverine before, now I miss him. I've been re-reading old X-Men books and I def. want Wolverine back.
Nightcrawler-He's no fun anymore and boring.
Prestige-Why is she still presented as being so weak. She used to wield the Phoenix force with no problem.
I hate to complain, but I'm getting tired of this book.

Generally speaking, yes. It's certainly a step in the right direction given what X-Fans have endured for the past several years.

This is my main reason for saying yes. But sort of wish that there was a smaller line up and focus on team members. And I wish we had a better artist. What would be ideal is if Blue got a re-boot. Get rid of the 05 and shift some team members to Blue, and let Bunn write the book.

Id be enjoying more if they do three things

Swap put OML for Laura seeing her interact with them would be nice specially her and Kurt, OML is over used at this point and he's trying to live off the nostalgia and recognition of the Old Man Logan stotyline also we saw Logan interact with them for over 30 years. Its getting a bit repetitive

Stop worshiping the ground kitty walks on. Trying to make her the best at everything isn't good, make her have to work for those wins.

Have Kitty and Rachel or kitty and magik no kitty Peter.

I agree. I'd like to see Laura on a team book (NOT 05!!), one where she can be herself not RIOTGRLLL. And OML just isn't the same as regular Wolvie.
