    I was left wanting to have a Gambit vs. Longshot poll. I mean, Gambit would obviously win by a wiiiiiide margin (his fandom is very powerful, while Longshot simply lacks of one), but aside of the result I'm curious about what people might comment.

    I voted for Jean but I really enjoy Dazzler.

    My favourite Dazzler moments are both from Fraction's run (I know, I know)

    • Her blowing up half of Psylocke's face
    • Her relationship with Pixie


    EDIT: I just remembered one of my highlights from IVX was when Dazzler took out Black Bolt - Dazzler's power can be very useful in combat

    I actually like her as Phoenix or at least the 70s version where she was Phoenix but it wasn't a cosmic force that randomly possesses different mutants, but Jean's very own identity. Even after the retcon, Claremont managed to keep it linked to Jean with the Phoenix being her own name, costume, and invention, something shown in the classic X-Men backstories where we saw that she always had a fascination with the firebird considering it was how her telepathy would manifest as a child and she had posters of the Phoenix in her room as well.

    Those voting Dazzler are mostly just Jean haters, almost certainly; until she resurfaced recently, Dazzler had few fans in the modern era.
