Default Pavitr Prabhaka, the Indian Spider-Man appreciation

    Hi everyone,

Think it's time to give pavitr prabhaka his own thread, he wasn't appreciated when he was first introduced but I feel like he would get more respect these days

I honestly forgot about the character until now. By no means am I against an Indian version of Spidey, however, I think his character was/is rather bland when compared to other international iterations like Spider-Man Uk.

I think it was because all the American writers just reduced him to a Big Bang Theory cast member. His original series is pretty fascinating, offering a look into the caste politics of India (he hailed from a "lower" caste while MJ and the Osborn equivalents came from an upper caste) and blending Indian mythological elements with Spider-Man mythos.

Btw I didn't find UK to be all that interesting either. I wish Spider-Punk had been Spider-Man UK instead.
