He put many psychology stuff in there. We have to be a Wonder Woman scholar to understand why he did it. It's not kink stuff because it's kink stuff much of it was dominate and submission

Jimenez probably. I like Marston's stuff, too.

Finger wrote the original Batman stories, and they were glorious.

Hardly makes him one of the worst though.

I'd rather read his issues than Snyder's run.

No, to freaks to understand. His work is still weird. I was just stating no one really knows why he did it but it's weird

From what I've read of Marston's WW I haven't been enthused by it, but Finger on Batman and Siegel & Shuster on Superman are great comics. Sure, they're dated but they're pretty entertaining.

As is Marston, as well as being some of the most unique and different writing in the entire history of comics.

I would say, in order from favorite to least:

    1. Rucka
    2. Marston
    3. Perez
    4. Jimenez
    5. Azzarello
    6. Simone
    7. Heinberg
    8. JMS
    9. Byrne
    10. Kanigher

Bill Finger is the best writer Batman has ever had.

I like the way he can tell a story with a beginning, a middle and an end in 12 or 13 pages.

    And Siegel's Superman rules!

And what does "dated" mean, really? Based on common usage, I think it means that modern readers aren't patient enough for anything outside of their narrow comfort zone.

    Or Loeb.

I especially like the way that Finger, as opposed to Loeb, doesn't write Batman like a total dumbass.

Batman has had the good fortune to have much better creative talent working on him over the years than Wonder Woman has. The pickings are slim on this side of the fence. Marston, dated though he is, still manages to stand out among the writers who've written his creation over the years. His output was also a great deal more complex than other writers of the time; thematically, it was also more complex than a lot of stuff being written today, even if it was aimed at a younger audience.

Oddly enough, I think Azzarello's Diana is the closest we've got to a modernized take on Marston's Diana, but I prefer the pacing/plots/art/themes of Perez and Rucka to the current team.

Dr. HUrt "Marston? Seriously? He was one of the worst writers she's ever had, despite him concieving her. And i would say the same thing about Kane for Batman and Shiegel/Shuster for Superman."

He's weird is not as bad a critique, unlike a run being bland and uninspired? Seriously. If a guy likes Marston's stuff good. It is really dated though...
