Its interesting its a a little JSA and a little JLI.

I think there's a good redundancy and overlap on the team too.

There's also the Spectre. I think of the Martian Manhunter as the revival version of the Spectre--John Jones is to Jim Corrigan as Hal Jordan is to Alan Scott.

While Spec was established on Earth-Two, he seemed to exist on every Earth (his series in "Weird" ADVENTURE COMICS was neither set on Earth-One nor Earth-Two). He can go where no man or superman has gone before.
