Barry, thanks to Scribblenauts Unmasked. My brother apparently had a school folder with him on it round the late '00s, but I never noticed it. Scribblenauts and Injustice introduced me to practically almost everyone. Then it was the TV show.

I saw comics at the age of 5 years old with Barry in them. I was not "reading" yet. I did not start "READING" The Flash till Wally was in it. That is why I voted Wally.

I never said Wally was my favorite. I never said Barry was my favorite. Why do people always have to go there?! I will never get that.

Your assumption is what ruined the DC boards over at DC Comics.com years ago.
I didn't "assume". I asked you to clarify this:
I voted Wally because I am 40 years old. I know for a fact I was checking out Flash comics with Barry in them when I was young but I fell in love with Wally right away.
The way that was stated made it sound like you saw Barry in comic books first, so that's why I asked if you actually read those comic books or was it more of seeing pictures with Barry but not being able to fully read/understand those earlier books.

And since you said you "fell in love with Wally right away", that sounds like it could easily be that he's your favorite.

The question is which did you first read when he was officially called "The Flash" in a comic book story.

Wally West, thanks to one of his team-ups with Kyle Rayner in the 90's. I was aware of Barry before that though, having watched his live-action show as a child, and having his Super Powers toy.

I think it was Jay, I was reading Young Justice and JSA before I read Wally as Flash. Barry was still gone when I was reading and I did not read Bart’s odd period as Flash.

I started reading comics in the early 2010s. I'm fairly certain one of the first stories I read was Flashpoint so I think it was Barry.

Wally West when he was in JLI for a couple of issues. JLI was also my first Black Canary, Guy Gardner, Captain Atom, Blue Beetle, Booster Gold comic.

I may have noticed a few Barry Allen appearances but the first Flash I remember reading in earnest was Wally West.

    Two more votes since then.

One vote for Barry Allen as the first DC Comics version of "The Flash" they ever read in a comic book, and one more for Wally West as their first The Flash.
