Because ... worst spoilers ever on the cover!
Tami a close close second because that cover is just too cute.

Way to go Cooper.
We expect a Sooper contest from you now.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
Nice job, SC!

THE CBR COMMUNITY STANDARDS & RULES ~ So... what's your excuse now?
Congratulations go out to SuperCooper for his powerful cover choice this week. Granted, silver age stories were written on a different level, but the solution seemed obvious. He failed to count Robin (third member?) and the little sidekick that could kicked the villain's butt.
I also would like to thank SC and ictrombone for their votes this week. My appreciation for the votes I get has been lacking. Apologies to any who may have chosen a cover of mine.
As to what I've learned this week? The captain has long realized he came from a different time, a time of expository dialogue and things called thought bubbles (google them, kids). Life before the internet and three months early release lists was a huge black box for the comic fan. Often, we would have to decide to buy a book based on cover alone (or actually reading if the clerk wasn't watching us). My favorite part of Killing Joke was the Joker's word balloon saying "SMILE" on the cover. A bit of nostalgia. Still, knowing who's on a book coming out in October is kinda cool.
I've learned to appreciate both the classic and the new.
Congrats Cooper!

Quite the pleasant surprise, thanks everyone! And thanks to those who voted for me! The new contest will be posted within the hour.
