True and it is great. For some reason, I had it in my head that this run started before his Heavy Metal job but I am wrong. I accept full responsibility and in penance I will follow Ethan van Sciver on Twitter for one full day.

There's also the Batman 666 book and the Multiversity sequel Morrison mentioned. Throw Seaguy 3 on the pile and Grant has the most books (hopefully still) on his slate that I want to read.

I thought the Batman 666 book was the Arkham Asylum sequel. I.e., that's the same book - it serves as a sequel to both AA and the 666 issue. Or have I misunderstood that this whole time?

The Arkham sequel is supposed to explore and expand on the 666 verse.

He said he was due to start the Arkham sequel after his Wonder Woman year 1

I asked Chris Burnham about this on Twitter a few weeks back and he said he and Morrison hadn’t even started it yet but would likely get around to it.

Boooo!!! Well, why in the heck would they announce such a thing if nobody's even really working on it????

What a disappointment. Wish they would have just kept it to themselves until it was actually under way.
    Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah!

Generic condescending passive aggressive elitist statement.

    It certainly does.

For Morrison, a sequel to Arkham and an actual series where we get to know more about Batman 666! That's cake.

This is pretty much my make a wish comic that I never expected to ever be a thing suddenly about to become a thing.

Thank you, thank you for updating us on this. I love Morrison, but he's become the King of Lack of Follow Through.

Did you know Grant announced a Batman Black & White project? Where is that?

    (Not to mention Multiversity Too)

(All in all, he's like 3 projects behind!)

Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

Curious how Burnham's art will compare to McKean's. Onlinesbi sudoku incometaxindiaefiling I think that he played a large part in what makes the original so fantastic. Arkham Asylum is perhaps my favorite Batman story, so I'm pretty excited for this.
Great news they work extremely well together hopefully Morrison keeps cranking out graphic novels for DC.[/QUOTE]

Agreed about seeing how Burnham compares to the original, if, where, and how the homages exist. I'd also really like to see how it compares to Kubert's 666 and 700. I thought he did pretty good in Incorporated 5 capturing the vibe of that future.
Retro315 no more. Anonymity is so 2005.
